Dr. Edwards brings an extraordinary depth of leadership and global influence to our board. She currently serves as President-elect of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine and is the Mental Health Lead for the IOC Medical Experts Group for the Olympic Games. Her past leadership as President of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry further reflects her longstanding commitment to advancing the field.

Her clinical and consulting work spans some of the most respected organizations in sport and performance, including serving as Sports Psychiatrist for the Toronto Tempo, Toronto Rock, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Hamilton Forge, as well as consulting for the NBA, NHL, and MLB. She also serves as Company Psychiatrist for the National Ballet of Canada—highlighting her expertise across both sport and performing arts.
